Are you accepting new patients?

Yes!  We are accepting new patients.  We have daytime and after-school appointments offered at our office in Merrifield, Virginia.  Home and school-based appointments are available on a select basis.  Tele-therapy is available in Virginia.

Do you accept insurance?

Sound By Sound Speech Therapy is out-of-network with all insurance providers.  However, we issue a monthly superbill with  diagnostic and procedural codes which you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. Many of our patients have success receiving at least partial reimbursement.

What kinds of speech disorders /differences do you treat?

At Sound By Sound Speech Therapy we will treat difficulties with articulation  and/or  phonology, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (motor planning deficits), those related to structural differences (cleft lip/palate, cranio-facial differences) or physiologic disturbances (tongue thrust, dysarthria). We will also help adults with speech differences, accents or dialects who want to improve their intelligibility or clarity.
